SEO Engine Pro is a free, fully client-side Chrome extension for on-page SEO audits and content research. It runs locally in your browser with no accounts, no paid APIs, and no data sent to external servers. WHAT IT DOES When you open the extension on a webpage, SEO Engine Pro analyzes the current tab and shows practical SEO insights across five tabs: • Overview — Inspect title, meta description, canonical URL, robots directives, language, word count, reading time, top phrase frequency, and JSON-LD schema • Headings — View an H1–H6 hierarchy tree, spot missing or multiple H1s and skipped levels, edit headings, and copy an outline as Markdown • Images — Review image URLs, ALT text, natural vs rendered dimensions, filter missing ALT or external images, copy URLs, export lists, and download images • SERP — On Google search results pages, collect People Also Ask questions, related searches, and topic cues, then copy a Q&A outline for content research • Export — Preview Open Graph and Twitter/X cards, then download a full audit as Markdown, CSV, or JSON WHY USE IT • Fast local audits without switching tools • Useful for writers, SEOs, freelancers, and developers • Private by design: page analysis stays on your device • Lightweight Manifest V3 extension with no tracking scripts HOW TO USE 1. Export reports or download images when needed PRIVACY SEO Engine Pro does not require a backend server and does not sell or upload your page content. Permissions are used only to analyze the active tab after you open the extension, inject the local scanner, support an optional context-menu scan, save lightweight preferences, and download files you explicitly request.
