Sentō (Sento) adds a floating AI rewrite bubble to any editable field on any website. Select text, pick a template, and apply the result in place. No copy paste, no tab switching. Works with textareas, rich text editors, ProseMirror, Confluence, Jira, and any contenteditable element. Connect the AI provider you already use by pasting an API key in Settings. Any OpenAI-compatible endpoint works too, including local models through Ollama or LM Studio. You pay the provider directly. No subscription, no markup, no middleman. HOW IT WORKS • Select text in any editable field • The rewrite bubble appears below your selection • Pick a template, the AI rewrites the text • Review the preview, then click Apply FORCE INSERT MODE Skip the preview entirely. Enable Force Insert in Settings to apply rewrites directly, or hold Shift when clicking a template for a one off apply. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • API keys stay on your device, stored locally • Selected text goes directly from your browser to the AI provider • No backend, no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry SITE CONTROL All Sites, Allow Only, or Block mode, control exactly where the bubble appears.
