Open Sensefold from the Chrome toolbar and sign in. 2. Choose "Capture this page" — or start a note. 3. Review the summary, editable tags, and extracted text. 4. On first page capture, Chrome asks for optional permission to access pages on all websites and remembers the permission until you revoke it in Chrome's extension settings. Sensefold never reads pages in the background. Only after you choose Capture does Sensefold read the active page's URL, title, domain, readable content, available thumbnail, and, on supported YouTube pages, transcript. Depending on the page you choose, readable content can include social posts, comments, or AI chat conversations. Sensefold sends that data over HTTPS to Sensefold and its listed processors to create a preview, AI summary, suggested tags, and, after you choose Save, to store the item. Note titles and bodies remain local drafts until you choose Save, when they are sent to your Sensefold library. Recent capture and note drafts, reading size, and the capture-disclosure acknowledgement are stored locally in Chrome.
