Overview
Checks the current page for technical markers of provider identification, privacy notice and cookie consent.
You open a website, click the icon, and a few seconds later you can read what the site identification says, what the privacy notice leaves out, and what already loaded before anyone saw a cookie banner. 34 markers across ten areas. Under German and European law: - Provider identification: name, postal address that accepts service, electronic contact, VAT identification number, register entries, details on a regulated profession. Outdated citations show up too, such as the repealed TMG or the old broadcasting treaty. - Privacy notice: whether it can be reached at all, whether the details required by Art. 13 GDPR appear, whether data subject rights and transfers to third countries are mentioned. - Before consent: cookies, requests to third-party servers, fonts loaded from third-party servers, and entries written to the terminal equipment, all of it before anyone clicked a banner. Also whether the dialog offers any way to refuse on its first layer. - Consumer arbitration, including links to the EU ODR platform that shut down on 20 July 2025. Those links are still sitting on a lot of sites. - Broadcasting: whether a site carrying journalistic content names a responsible person under § 18(2) of the German interstate media treaty. - Reachability: how many links away the site identification and the privacy notice were, and whether a cookie banner was covering them at the moment of the check. - On pages that identify themselves as a product offer: whether details on the manufacturer appear. Under United States law, if you switch it on: - California: the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" links on the homepage, and whether the privacy notice is labelled as one. - Texas: the two notices from Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 541.102, word for word, in the form the statute sets out. - Washington: the separate link to a consumer health data privacy policy under RCW 19.373.020. You choose which body of law applies. Concluding from a domain ending or the language of a page which law a provider is subject to would be an assessment of the individual case, and this tool does not make one. Germany and the EU are on by default. Some provisions only apply once a fact is true that no website reveals: whether someone sells data, whether they cross a revenue threshold. For those the extension asks you about your own business. Without your statement the affected check returns no result, rather than guessing. Every finding names the provision it relates to, so you can read it yourself. There are three outcomes: finding, nothing noted, not assessable. The third one is deliberate. How many people a company employs is not written on its website, so Senorit Notice Check claims nothing about it. The analysis runs in your browser. The contents of the pages you check go to no server. The report is produced on your device as well. What stays on the device is the origin of each website you checked together with the state of every finding, so the next check can be compared against it. You can delete that at any time in the settings. The interface and the report come in German and English. The language is kept separate from the law being checked: a German agency can work in German and check against California law. Without a licence you see every finding, and what changed since you last checked the same page. Pro unlocks: - the provision and the supporting passage behind every single finding - the unremarkable and the not-assessable markers as well - deep check: reloads the page with no prior consent and shows what a visitor triggers before clicking anything - the report as a PDF, to print and pass on Agency adds: - a directory of every website you look after, sorted by what needs attention, with the trend since the previous check - the last twenty checks per website instead of only the last one - the history as CSV for your own reporting - ten seats Important: This tool performs a purely automated, technical analysis. It is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney, it does not create an attorney-client relationship, and it does not assess your individual case. Under German law it is not a Rechtsdienstleistung within the meaning of § 2 RDG. Results are provided without warranty as to completeness or accuracy. These offers are directed exclusively at business customers (traders within the meaning of § 14 of the German Civil Code). All prices are in euro (EUR) and are final prices including any applicable value added tax; no further charges arise. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You cancel it yourself, in the extension settings, with one click; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and until then you can undo it in the same place.
