SendGuard
Overview
Enter = new line, Ctrl+Enter = send. Per-domain control for AI chat sites.
SendGuard — Chrome Web Store Listing (revised) Short description (132 chars max) Enter = new line, Ctrl+Enter = send. Stop accidentally sending half-typed messages in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other AI chats. Detailed description You know the feeling. You're mid-thought, crafting a long prompt — and then you hit Enter. Gone. Sent. Half-baked. SendGuard fixes this by flipping the default behavior on AI chat sites. Enter inserts a new line so you can write multi-line prompts without fear, and Ctrl+Enter (or ⌘+Enter on Mac) sends the message when you're actually ready. The extension comes pre-configured for 16 popular AI chat services and works out of the box. You can also add any website through the settings — SendGuard handles both textareas and contentEditable inputs. Each domain can be toggled on or off individually, so you stay in control of where the behavior applies. Don't need it on a particular site? Just flip the switch. SendGuard is lightweight by design: no background processes, no data collection, no network requests. It only activates on domains you've explicitly enabled and does nothing everywhere else. The settings page and popup automatically follow your system theme (light or dark). Open source, privacy-first, zero tracking.
