Your snippets are stored locally (with optional Chrome sync across your own devices, built into Chrome itself, not a server we run). HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the Semi icon and add a snippet: a shortcut (like addr) and the text it should expand to. 2. Anywhere you type, type ; followed by your shortcut, then hit space, tab, or enter. 3. Your shortcut is replaced with the full text automatically. WHERE IT WORKS Semi works in standard text fields across the web, including Gmail, Notion, Slack, X, and most forms and text boxes. Some highly custom editors (like Google Docs) aren't supported.
