Semantiscope
Overview
Visualizes the H1-H6 structure and their semantic parents.
Semantiscope builds an interactive outline of the current page's headings and highlights their nearest semantic parent elements (for example main, section, nav, header, footer, article, aside, or div). It helps auditors, developers, and content editors quickly identify missing heading levels, nested structure issues, and navigate to headings. FEATURES: • Builds a hierarchical outline of H1–H6 headings found on the current page. • Shows the semantic parent tag for each heading (e.g.
,
,
,
,
,
,
or div/other). • Detects and inserts placeholder nodes for missing heading levels (e.g. when an H2 directly follows an H4). • Toggle collapse/expand of heading subtrees. USAGE: 1. Open a page with headings (any web page). 2. Click the Semantiscope toolbar icon. 3. A modal will appear showing the document outline; click any entry to scroll to that heading.
