Overview
Private AI for the web. Nothing is logged, nothing is trained on, nothing is sold.
Private AI on any page, plus your passwords, codes, passkeys, encrypted file storage and email aliases, all from one SELF account. You need a free account from https://self.app. Sign up there first, then install. AI on any page Click the SELF button, or press Ctrl+Shift+S, Cmd+Shift+S on a Mac, to open the side panel beside the page you are reading. Summarise the page, ask about it, or explain the text you selected. Right-click selected text to translate it, or any text box to rewrite, shorten, fix the tone or draft a reply, then insert the result with one click. The side panel saves your conversations to your account, so they show in the app too, and a rename or a reply made in one shows in the other. Passwords, codes and passkeys Save a login when you sign in, fill it with a click on the SELF mark in the password field, and have the one-time code typed in too. Make passkeys where a site offers them, and sign in with them. Fill a saved card at a checkout, and your details in a sign-up or shipping form, the same way. Set up a one-time code by scanning the QR code the site shows, or from a screenshot of it. Check your passwords against known breaches and see which ones are reused or weak, without a single password leaving your device. Open a site straight from its login, keep secure notes, and bring everything over from your old password manager in one import, cards and identities included. Nothing fills without your click. Your files and your inbox, with SELF Connect Right-click any image or link and save it straight into your Vault, the encrypted file storage in your account that only you can open, or save a screenshot of the page you are on. On a sign-up form, take a fresh email alias from the email field, so the site never learns your real address. Create, rename, pause and delete your aliases from the side panel. If one starts getting spam, you know which site leaked it, and you can pause that alias and nothing else. How it stays private Your device encrypts your passwords, codes, passkeys, cards, identities, notes, conversations and saved files with a key only you hold. The servers store ciphertext they cannot read. The extension reads the page inside your own browser and sends nothing unless you ask, and then only the text needed to answer, to SELF's own servers and nowhere else. Check passwords sends five characters of each password's hash to the public breach database Have I Been Pwned and matches the answer on your device. The password itself never leaves it. SELF does not keep what you read, does not train models on it, shows no ads and sells no data. There are no trackers in this extension. What you need A SELF account, free at https://self.app. Sign in once on the website, then press Connect this browser in the extension, with your passkey if you have one. There is no separate login. SELF Zero includes the password manager in full and 5 AI messages a day. SELF Connect gives 100 a day plus web search, saving files from the browser into your encrypted storage, email aliases, private email and calendar.
