Overview

Compare two pasted texts and highlight similar phrases locally in your browser.

Self Plagiarism Checker helps users compare two pasted documents and identify repeated phrase combinations. Paste two texts, click Check, and the extension highlights similar phrases of four or more consecutive words in both documents. This tool is designed for quick self-review before editing, revising, or submitting writing. It can be useful for comparing drafts, assignments, articles, reports, or other text documents. The extension runs locally in your browser. It does not upload, save, store, download, sell, or share pasted text. It does not request Chrome permissions and does not use analytics or tracking. This tool provides an indicative phrase similarity check only and does not replace a formal plagiarism report. Developer and owner: Concepts and Context, registered at wordbinary.com.
