Selectra restores what websites switch off: the right-click menu, text selection, copying, dragging images, scrolling and printing. Everything is off until you turn it on, per site or globally. WHAT IT DOES • Right-click: brings back the browser menu on pages that block it with scripts or invisible layers placed over images. • Select & copy: lets you highlight and copy text where CSS or scripts forbid it, including text inside web components. • Clean clipboard: stops pages from adding "Read more at…" links or other text to what you copy. • Drag images: dragging a picture works like in any normal page, even when a transparent layer covers it. • Alt+Click on an image saves it. Selectra picks the best picture the page itself offers for that spot (the larger version a thumbnail links to, the largest srcset entry) and checks that it loads before using it. • Keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+C, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+P, F12 and friends work again when a page intercepts them. • Scroll and print: unlocks pages that freeze scrolling or hide their content when printed. • Reading clarity: removes blur filters and overlays that cover article text. • Dialogs: silences "copying is disabled" alerts. • Edit page: an optional switch makes the page text editable for the current visit. PRIVACY • Everything happens inside your browser. Selectra has no servers, no analytics and no accounts. • It does not read your clipboard, record keystrokes or collect browsing data. • Settings (toggles, theme, language) are stored locally with chrome.storage. • When you Alt+Click or use "Download image" on a picture that its site only serves to its own pages, Selectra requests that picture from its host and sends the page's address as the Referer, exactly as your browser would while showing the page. No cookies are sent. • All fonts and code ship inside the extension. Nothing is loaded from the internet. Selectra does not bypass logins, paywalls or licences: it only works with what your browser has already been sent.
