Good experience thus far, fails to get correct words on screen 35% of the time but good enough for me

worst extension ever, it requires singing in by google account, it also has 20 copies limit per month, which they didnt tell you in the description, or while signing in, or while using it, they only tell u, when you reach it, this extension is a scam, i mean cmon, seriously, they literally asking you to pay for copying texts, and they literally offer only 20 free, and i m sure no one is gonna use less than 20 in at least 1 hour of programming videos, because most of the users of this extensi... Useless, can't use without signing in to Google, which is a major privacy violation.

Users cannot use the app without signing in using Google credentials, I don't like the idea of that. Then when uninstalling, the uninstall survey is conducted through a Google Forms link, which is super unprofessional; makes me glad to not have entered in my Google information, whether or not the developers have malicious intent. I could not proceed and test the extension without signing in, which I will not do. I also think the button is tacky, I have heard MacOS has a copy text from video... Show more

Had initial problem when prompted to allow access to what I was downloading from youtube; which I declined. This severly affected the operation of the App. It would only copy certain pieces of the screen and kept repeating the same selection. However, I received a quick response to my problem from 'Selectext'. It appears that the prompt was initiated by Selectext and not Youtube. I received instructions to resolve the issue which rectified the situation immediately. I found the app easy to u... Show more

It works really well

It crashed my brave instantly, and i cant launch brave anymore without disabling extensions manually with commands DO NOT DOWNLOAD! i cant launch my brave with extensions anymore because of this stupid app

Hi, I'm very sorry you are having this issue. Unfortunately we couldn't reproduce this issue in Brave browser. Brave isn't an officially supported browser for Selectext, so I advise others to avoid using Selectext with Brave browser. Thanks, Vinny from Selectext
