Highlight any text and perform a search in any search engine with a couple of clicks, hotkey or gesture.

Quick start: 1. Install the extension. 2. Open any webpage (or refresh already opened). 3. Highlight any text with a mouse. 4. Middle-click on the highlighted text or hit F9. 5. Click on any search engine in the opened window. It works. Just remember to add "%s" at the end of your favourite search engine URL. Funziona. Solo ricorda di aggiungere "%s" alla fine dell'URL del tuo motore di ricerca preferito. Example: https://www.ecosia.org/search?method=index&q=%s 1. Fill with your search engine URL Domain 2. Search method URL string (extract it from any search) 3. Add "%s" next the last "="

I have been trying to make a similar extension for 2-3 days. You have done it, you have done it much better, I wish I had seen it before, I would not have tried so hard. + I wish there was a pop up option. For example, when I search for words in Cambridge, 820 x 1180 popup would open on the right side of the screen without adress bar and I would never have to change tabs. Please add that.

The best of its kind. I’ve been awaiting such extension for years. I used to use something similar in firefox 2, ages ago. Broken by upgrades.
