Select & Translate

Select text on any page, right-click, and translate it to your browser's language with auto-detected source language.

This is a small extension that does one thing: you highlight text on a page, right-click, and a translation shows up right there. No opening a new tab, no pasting into Google Translate, no picking a source language. It auto-detects whatever language you selected and translates into your browser's own display language (so if your browser is set to German, that's what you'll get — not always English). Translation goes through Google Translate. The extension itself doesn't collect, log, or store anything — text only gets sent when you actually trigger a translation, nothing runs in the background.
