Selah Hold
Overview
A local-first, time-bounded content buffer for short-term reading and processing.
Selah Hold is a local-first, time-bounded content buffer for short-term web reading, research, and page triaging. Rather than cluttering your browser with infinite, unread bookmarks, Selah Hold holds web pages for a temporary window (default 3 days, up to 1 week), giving you a clean, focused queue to read, process, or archive. Key Features: • 100% Local-First & Private: All saved items stay strictly inside your browser's local IndexedDB. No accounts, no cloud sync, no tracking. • One-Click Fast Path: Hold any web page in 1 click for 3 days directly from the popup or right-click context menu. • Smart Local Category Suggestions: Automatic rule-based suggestions (Open Source, News, Markets, Tech / Research, Tools / Websites) derived purely from local domain names. • Full User Editability: Easily customize category, personal tags (max 2), intent (Read, Analyze, Try, Listen, Reference), and revisit duration (Today, 3 Days, 1 Week). • Time-Bounded Queue: View your queue organized into Fading (overdue holds awaiting decision), Today (due today), and Coming Up (scheduled for later). • Soft Archive & Working Undo: Archive items to clear your active queue while preserving local records, supported by a 6-second Undo window. • Minimal Permissions: Requests only activeTab, storage, and contextMenus permissions.
