Overview

Turn tab audio or local music into live visual patterns. Fullscreen, local processing, no uploads.

See your music take shape. SeeSound turns audio from a browser tab or local audio files into moving patterns, processed on your own device. TWO WAYS TO SEE SOUND • Spectral: watch sound form evolving, Chladni-inspired resonance patterns. • Particle Flow (Preview): bass expands a cloud of particles, midrange shapes its orbit, and treble accelerates scattered particles through the flow. This mode requires WebGPU. MAKE IT YOURS • Choose from eight distinct palettes, including Ice Cyan, Amber, Monochrome, Neon, Acid, Velvet, Ember and Orchid. • Customize the low-, mid- and high-frequency colors globally, or give individual tracks their own palette. • Fine-tune Particle Flow with Soft, Balanced and Tight rhythm presets. • Adjust response speed, transient sensitivity, impact strength, impact duration and motion inertia. • Tune the three frequency bands and their strengths. • Enter fullscreen and hide the controls for an immersive view. YOUR LOCAL MUSIC QUEUE • Add multiple audio files at once; each selection is sorted naturally by filename. • Add more files to the end of the queue without interrupting playback. • Press Play to begin. Tracks play in sequence and stop after the last one. • Use each track’s three-color button to choose its palette or follow the global theme. • The queue and track palettes last for the current page session and reset when you close or reload it. GET STARTED 1. Play audio in a normal browser tab. 2. Click the SeeSound extension icon to open the visualizer for that tab. 3. Choose a visual mode and adjust its colors and response. You can also choose File in SeeSound and add local audio files supported by Chrome, then press Play. SeeSound keeps one viewer open. Clicking its icon again returns to that viewer. To visualize a different browser tab, close the existing viewer, then click SeeSound from the new source tab. Keep the source tab open during tab visualization. LOCAL PROCESSING Audio is processed locally and is not uploaded to us or to third parties. No SeeSound account, microphone access, ads or tracking is required. The extension does not save recordings or export videos. COMPATIBILITY Requires Chrome 116 or later. Particle Flow requires working WebGPU support; availability depends on your browser, GPU and system configuration. Some protected media and restricted browser pages cannot be captured. Visual response varies with the music and your settings. Support: worldtheater0x01@gmail.com
