Seerr Selection Search

Highlight a movie or TV show title on any page, right-click, and search your self-hosted Seerr instance for it.

Stop alt-tabbing to Seerr every time you see a title mentioned online. Seerr Selection Search adds one right-click action to your browser: highlight a movie or TV show title on any webpage, right-click, choose "Search Seerr," and see results from your own self-hosted Seerr (or Jellyseerr/Overseerr- compatible) instance in a new tab — poster art, release year, overview, and whether it's already requested or available. HOW IT WORKS • Select a title on any page — an article, a Reddit thread, a group chat. • Right-click and choose "Search Seerr." • Browse results ranked with exact matches first, each showing its Seerr status (Requested / Processing / Available / Partially Available / Not Requested). • Click through to open that title directly on your Seerr instance. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • Your Seerr URL and API key are entered once in the extension's own Options page and stored only in your browser's local storage — never synced to a Google account, never sent anywhere but the Seerr server you configure. • The extension only ever talks to the one Seerr origin you set up. It does not request access to every website you visit, and it doesn't run on any page until you explicitly trigger a search from the right-click menu. • No analytics, no tracking, no third-party servers in between. REQUIREMENTS • A running Seerr instance (v3.x tested; Jellyseerr/Overseerr-compatible) reachable from your browser, plus its API key (Seerr → Settings → General → API Key). This is an unofficial, independent companion tool for Seerr. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the Seerr project.
