seekey
Overview
Keyboard-first Chrome extension for bookmark search, tab switching, history search, Google searches, and shortcut launcher.
seekey is a keyboard launcher and command palette for Chrome. Press one leader key to search bookmarks, switch open tabs, find optional recent browsing history, reopen past Google search terms, and run your own direct shortcut bindings without reaching for the mouse. Selecting an open tab switches to that tab instead of reloading it. Use seekey when you want a fast bookmark search tool, tab switcher, history search, Google search history finder, and shortcut launcher in one small extension. Direct shortcuts are part of the same search box. For example, a binding such as `gh` can appear as the top result while normal bookmark and history results remain available below it. All matching, fuzzy search, and frecency ranking runs locally in the browser. seekey does not send bookmarks, browsing history, search terms, settings, or shortcut bindings to a developer server. History search is optional and off by default. If it is not enabled, seekey searches bookmarks and direct shortcuts only. What's new: - 0.1.5: Added Simplified Chinese UI support and an Options language selector with Default, English, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese choices. - 0.1.4: Space-separated query tokens now match a URL's parts in order, so "gi an see" jumps straight to github.com/antfrog/seekey.
