Seek is a free Chrome extension that lets you search spoken content in videos and jump straight to the moment a word or phrase was mentioned. Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on Mac), enter a search term, and instantly navigate to the right timestamp. Seek works entirely in your browser, with no account required. How it works 1. Install Seek from the Chrome Web Store. 2. Open a supported video with captions or a transcript. 3. Press Ctrl+K or click the Seek toolbar icon. 4. Type a word or phrase. 5. Select a result to jump to that moment in the video. Use quotation marks for exact matches, for example: ""machine learning"". Works with - YouTube, including playlists and Shorts. - Vimeo videos with captions. - Loom recordings and shared videos. - Online learning platforms that provide captions or transcripts.
