Protect selected domains behind authentication.

Keep selected websites behind a password or passkey with SecuTab. Choose which websites to protect, then decide when they should lock and how access should be restored. SecuTab works locally in your Chrome profile without a SecuTab account. Features: - Unlock protected websites with your SecuTab password or a supported passkey. - Cover a page with a lock screen or redirect to an extension authentication page. - Lock websites manually, after a timeout, when tabs become inactive, or when Chrome detects machine idle or screen lock. - Set different locking rules for different websites. - Share an unlock across eligible websites or require each tab to unlock separately. - Choose a light, dark, or system appearance. SecuTab uses website URLs, tab information, and idle state to apply the rules you choose. Its configuration and authentication data are handled locally. There is no publisher-operated analytics or advertising backend. Website icons may load from their original servers; see the Privacy Policy for details. Passkey support depends on your browser, operating system, and authenticator. If a website blocks embedded passkey prompts, SecuTab opens a temporary extension authentication tab. Protection limits: a page overlay does not stop the website from running underneath. SecuTab cannot prevent someone with control of Chrome from disabling the extension or using developer tools.
