Securify Kid Protection

Change your default search to protect you and your family from sketchy sites, searches and adult content.

Switch your default search engine to safeguard your family and yourself from suspicious sites, searches, and adult content. Switch between Parent and Kid mode with a password to allow or block access to non-child safe content categories. Alternate between parent and child mode, allowing or blocking access to sensitive content such as adult sites and adult search suggestions. Instructions: 1. Click on the extension's icon 2. Input a password and enable protection 3. Try searching for "Kiss *" and see inappropriate keywords suggestions 4. Go to an adult theme website to see the website being blocked 5. Click the extension's icon again to see "block" counter increase 6. Let the family use the browser as usual Permissions Needed: * `Search Settings Override` - This will change your default search to search.mysecurify.com, powered by Yahoo and enhanced by Securify. Using parent mode will display warnings near sensitive search term suggestions * `Notifications` - To present the warning notification bubbles * `Read and change all website data` - Standard permission to identify the URLs and scan web pages and categorize child-sensitive content.
