Overview

Track active browsing time, get AI-powered site categorization, and visualize your daily web activities - all in one dashboard.

SecureView — Browsing Intelligence Take control of your time online. SecureView runs quietly in the background, tracking how long you actively spend on each website and automatically organising every site into one of 11 categories — so you always know where your browsing time really goes. WHAT IT DOES SecureView measures your active browsing time — not just time spent with a tab open, but time when you are genuinely using the page. It detects mouse movement, keyboard input, and scrolling, and automatically pauses when you step away, switch windows, or your device goes idle. At the end of the day you get a clear picture: which categories consumed the most time, which sites you visited, and how your habits compare across previous days. KEY FEATURES • Active time tracking — Measures real engagement, not passive tab time. Pauses automatically on idle, window blur, or locked screen. • 11 smart categories — Every domain is instantly classified into: Technology, Entertainment, Social Media, News & Media, Productivity, Shopping, Finance, Education, Health & Fitness, Travel, or Gaming. • AI-powered fallback — For sites that don't match built-in rules, SecureView calls Amazon Bedrock via a secure serverless AWS pipeline to classify the domain intelligently. Results are cached locally so the call is made only once per domain. • Daily history — Browse your stats day by day. Each day's data is stored independently and never mixed. • Site search — Instantly filter your visited sites by hostname, title, or category. • Domain exclusion — Exclude any site from tracking with one tap. Excluded sites are immediately removed from your history and never tracked again. • Privacy first — All your browsing data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage APIs. No browsing data is ever sent to any server. • Zero configuration — Install and forget. No account, no sign-in, no setup required. HOW THE AI CLASSIFICATION WORKS SecureView uses a rule-based engine first — matching domains and keywords against a curated list of 11 categories. For sites it cannot classify locally, it sends only the domain name and page title (never the full URL or any personal data) to a serverless AWS pipeline: CloudFront → Lambda@Edge → API Gateway → Lambda → Amazon Bedrock The API key never leaves the server. The extension holds only a lightweight shared secret, keeping your credentials fully protected. Classification results are cached locally so each domain is only looked up once. If the service is unreachable, SecureView falls back silently to the "Other" category — no errors, no disruption. YOUR PRIVACY SecureView does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Your browsing history never leaves your device. The only outbound call is an anonymous domain classification request (domain name + page title only) sent to the AI pipeline for unrecognised sites — no cookies, no identifiers, no tracking.
