Overview

Allows Google Workspace administrators to view laptop and desktop status, including OS, device, and user information.

SecureConnect is a Chrome extension that uploads lightweight device-state information to Google. The SecureConnect Native Helper must also be installed on the machine for the reporting to work properly. A link for the native helper download can be found in the Chrome extension. The uploaded device information include: * OS type * OS version * Serial Number * Whether or not screen lock is enabled on the machine * Whether or not the disk is encrypted
