Secure AI Prompt is a lightweight guardrail for anyone using web-based AI assistants at work. As you type, it scans your prompt locally in your browser and warns you before you send sensitive information — API keys, credentials, database connection strings, private IP addresses, internal hostnames, or confidential code. Everything happens on your device. Your text is never sent to any server, and the extension has no backend of its own. When it spots something risky, it blurs the value inline and gives you a clear choice: edit the message, let the extension redact it for you, or send anyway. It works with the major AI chat assistants people use day to day, and is built for easy rollout across an organization — IT teams can deploy it through managed browser policy and define their own detection rules, such as internal project names or ticket formats.
