Twenty seconds to reconsider before any streaming site opens, and a daily limit once you are in.

THE WAIT Open a site on your list and it doesn't open. You get a near-empty screen: the site's name, a countdown, and two choices. Leaving isn't the hard option — it's the obvious one, and Continue stays disabled until the wait is up. Leave the tab and the wait starts over. Otherwise it's a twenty second errand you run somewhere else and come back to a button that's already unlocked. I kept the honest limits in rather than cutting them: You can disable it in two clicks. An extension can't defend itself from the person who installed it, and this one doesn't pretend otherwise. It's friction, not enforcement. If you want to be stopped rather than slowed down, this is the wrong tool.
