Overview
Capture web pages into your Second Neuron knowledge graph — powered by Claude and spaced repetition.
Full Description Second Neuron captures the web pages you want to remember — without the friction. Click the toolbar icon and the extension automatically extracts clean article text from the page. No selecting, no copying, no reformatting. Hit "Save to Brain" and it's in your personal knowledge base, ready for spaced repetition review later. HOW IT WORKS • Open any article, blog post, or documentation page • Click the Second Neuron icon in your toolbar • The extension extracts the clean text automatically • Review the preview, then hit "Save to Brain" • That's it — one click, permanently saved SMART EXTRACTION The extension uses a 4-layer extraction system: it captures your selected text first, then falls back to article body extraction (powered by Mozilla Readability), then full page content, then URL-only if nothing else works. You always get the best possible result without doing anything extra. PRIVACY FIRST The extension activates only when you click the icon — it never runs in the background, never tracks your browsing, and never reads any page you haven't explicitly chosen to save. Your API key is stored locally on your device. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED • activeTab — reads the current tab only when you click the icon • storage — saves your API key locally on your device • scripting — injects the extraction script into the active tab Requires a free Second Neuron account at secondneuron.com.
