Seashelf – Back up your X bookmarks & Rednote saves

Sync X bookmarks and Rednote saves to Seashelf: full-text and semantic search, auto tags, and a backup that survives deleted posts.

Seashelf keeps your X (Twitter) bookmarks and Rednote (Xiaohongshu) saves safe and searchable. The extension syncs your own X bookmarks — and, if you turn it on, your Rednote saves and albums — to your Seashelf library at seashelf.app, where you can: • Search everything you've saved, by keyword or by meaning • Browse by automatic categories, author, date, or media type • Keep images and videos even if the original post is deleted How sync works • Click "Sync now" (or turn on automatic sync on the Pro plan). The extension reads your bookmark list from newest to oldest and stops as soon as it reaches bookmarks Seashelf already has. • Remove a bookmark in Seashelf, and the extension unbookmarks it on X at the next sync. • "Full check" walks your whole bookmark list once to catch older bookmarks you removed on X. • Rednote sync is optional and off by default. Turn it on in the popup and Chrome asks for access to xiaohongshu.com; turn it off and the access is revoked. It is read-only: it never likes, saves or unsaves anything on Rednote. Gentle on your X account • Reads only your own bookmark list, using the X session already in your browser. • One request at a time, with randomized pauses between pages, and a cap on pages per run. • Stops and cools down at the first sign of rate limiting (on Rednote, at the first verification prompt). • Never posts, likes, follows, or reads your messages. • Your X and Rednote passwords and cookies never leave your browser.
