Thumbnail previews for SearXNG search results.

Adds thumbnail previews next to every result on your SearXNG search page, so you can see what a page looks like before you click. 🔒 Privacy-first • No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry • You configure your own preview backend — nothing goes to any third party • Open source (MIT) — code at https://github.com/MaikiMolto/searxng-previews ⚙️ How it works • The extension reads URLs already visible on your SearXNG page • Sends each URL to a backend you self-host (Docker image provided) • Backend uses headless Chromium to capture a screenshot, returns a thumbnail • Smart fallbacks for bot-blocked, login-walled, or blank pages 🛠️ Setup 1. Run the backend: docker run -p 3200:3000 ghcr.io/maikimolto/searxng-previews:latest 2. In the extension Options, set Backend URL to your server (e.g. http://localhost:3200) 3.
