SearchScope by Khalid Elsemary is a privacy-first, page-level auditing extension for SEO professionals, content teams, ecommerce managers and web developers. Open SearchScope on the webpage you want to inspect and run a user-initiated scan. The results appear in a structured Chrome side panel, allowing you to review the page without losing its browser context. WHAT YOU CAN AUDIT • Core SEO signals — Review the page’s HTTP response, title, meta description, canonical URL, robots directives, language, viewport, headings and rendered word count. • Links and HTTP responses — Inventory internal, subdomain and external destinations with their anchor text, occurrence count, page section, rel attributes and follow/nofollow state. When an HTTP response is received, SearchScope reports the exact status code and observed redirect path, such as 301 → 200. • Prioritized link findings — Identify broken destinations, server errors, redirect chains, redirect loops, missing on-page targets, empty anchor text and internal links that redirect elsewhere. • Server HTML versus rendered DOM — Compare the HTML delivered by the server with the page after JavaScript and browser processing. Search, filter and review added or removed lines in a dedicated source comparison viewer. • Headings and images — Inspect the complete H1–H6 outline, image sources, alt-text state, loading behavior, dimensions and linked-image destinations. • Structured data — Inspect JSON-LD, Microdata and RDFa, including parsing errors, detected schema types and type-specific required or recommended field gaps. • Search eligibility — Review observable technical signals related to indexing, canonical consistency, robots.txt access, sitemap discovery, rendered content and snippet controls. These checks identify technical conditions and do not guarantee indexing, rankings or rich-result eligibility. • International SEO — Review hreflang language codes, destination responses, redirects, noindex conflicts, page-language alignment and reciprocal annotations when the destination is available to the selected scan. • Entity consistency — Compare Organization, Person and Brand identity signals, including names, URLs, logos, stable identifiers and sameAs profiles. • AEO and GEO readiness — Review robots.txt access rules for major search and AI crawlers, snippet controls, rendered content availability, page-type-aware content signals and machine-readable interface semantics. Results describe observable technical signals and do not guarantee AI citations or inclusion. • Social metadata and resources — Preview Open Graph and Twitter/X metadata and inventory scripts, stylesheets, images, fonts, frames and Fetch/XHR resources observed by the browser. • Reports and comparisons — Filter findings, export individual audit sections or a complete report, and optionally compare recent scans stored locally in Chrome. PRIVACY BY DESIGN SearchScope processes page information locally in the browser. No account is required, no advertising or analytics SDK is included, and scan results are not transmitted to Khalid Elsemary. Website access is requested only after a user action. Users may approve access for all websites once, or choose access only for the current website. Scan scope remains separate from website permission: external destinations are requested only when the user selects the all-links scan option. Likely passwords, tokens, session values and API keys are masked by default in source comparison views, copies and downloads. IMPORTANT SCOPE SearchScope is a page-level technical auditing and quality-assurance tool. It is not a whole-site crawler, backlink database or ranking tracker. Some websites may block automated browser requests, require authentication or prevent an HTTP response from being observed. In those situations, SearchScope reports that no HTTP status was received instead of inventing a 404, 500 or other response.
