It takes a while to show the search results. Omni bar search queries needs a snappier UI.

The UX isn't great, opening a new chat window on every search is annoying not to mention it adds to the chat history on the left so now finding more important chats will be harder as there will be an annoying long list of chats that are searches, this doesn't work as an extention without a full reskin of the UI/UX for search, Chat is not search so don't expect the behaviors to be the same ... I want this in my search I just don't want to do it this way, I'll put this on ice until this is fig... Show more

The idea of this is great, and so I support its development full-heartedly! However, it doesn't seem to work on ChromeOS (using PixelBook Go).

It always open new popup of chatgpt conversation. So its not bad but when I want open something by google search then I always need add !g and that too slow for me. I'd rather have it the other way around. always use google search and only when I want to put !g and chatgpt search is used

My search doesn't work like Google. When I make a query, it opens a ChatGPT window, and I have to continue the conversation there. It takes too much effort to get an answer. The same can be done directly in the ChatGPT window. In my opinion, the extension is currently useless.

Can there be an option to open a new chat in the already open chatGPT tab? that way we don't have multiple tabs open every time we search for something.

Not a searching as propagated, chrome can allow adding custom url, so putting `https://chatgpt.com/?q=%s` does the job, than installing this extension.

I believe integrating ChatGPT with Google Search would be highly beneficial. Accessing ChatGPT through a separate application is less convenient. If ChatGPT were integrated directly into the Google Search page, similar to the existing knowledge graph or as a separate page akin to the current Google search results, it would greatly enhance the user experience.

It's not a search engine, it's just ChatGPT and will use the model you have access to and count towards the message limit. Sure, it can tell you a summary of the keywords you searched, and that's all. It's not designed for a search user experience and not very usable for finding stuff on the internet. On the other hand Google Search already has chatbot summaries in the results, similar to what ChatGPT would offer, and together with conventional search results you can explore and click in. I c...
