Search Toolkit
Overview
Adds opt-in local website memory, site reports, and customizable context to Google Search.
Search Toolkit helps you recognize and evaluate websites using context stored locally in your browser. With optional Chrome history access, it can show whether you have visited a result before, visit frequency, first and last visits, saved trust choices, tags, notes, risk indicators, and a locally calculated reputation summary beside Google results. History access is disabled by default and requested only after an explicit choice. The popup provides a current-site report with visit context and user-triggered page metadata. You can save private per-domain notes and categories, customize which Google result fields appear, and optionally personalize Google Home and Search with a local or remote wallpaper. Data is stored on your device. Search Toolkit has no analytics, advertising, affiliate tracking, or developer-operated data server. Optional RDAP domain-age lookup and remote wallpaper requests are clearly controlled in Settings. Key controls: - Enable or disable optional history access and future visit recording. - Choose exactly which contextual fields appear on Google Search. - Export local extension data as JSON. - Clear individual profiles/site statistics or delete all Search Toolkit data and optional permissions. Search Toolkit is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google LLC. Google is a trademark of Google LLC.
