Search selected text with Google in new Tab

For me, this new "feature" of the side panel has just appeared as of 08/2023. It is such a despicable waste of effort and space for every person involved - the poor coders who had to make this abomination, the beta testers who have had to suffer through it longer than the rest of us, and us regular consumers who are now hoping for a faster crawl toward death to avoid laying our eyes upon this wretched side panel any longer. That's great! This extension solved the issue of the cheesy Side Panel that google so insistently enforces. Hey google, why did simply opening a new tab with right click become a quest for me? What is wrong with you?

Works just as you'd expect, does exactly what you'd want. Thank you so much for this extension and cleaning up the mess that Google is making! <3

Amazing. Drove me mad how there is absolutely NO way to disable the garbage side search now and the flags are now useless. All other extensions have nested menus which do not solve the problem or are long ways of solving it. Thankfully rage searching 'disable side panel chrome' brought this up 😂. I do suggest changing or shortening the name to something people might search, that way more people can find the solution to Google's latest nightmare.
