Search & Link Preview

Actually the best link preview extension I've found and I've been searching for a long time. It's very intuitive and the developer really thought about quality of life features that make it really convenient to use.

this extension saved my life

It works. The main problem is that on Ecosia.org the "Hover" feature doesn't work and the button "Search" doesn't appear. You have to right-click the link and launch the extension from there. Furthermore, you can only choose between Big Techs search engines to make the research. Not exactly what I was looking for when I downloaded your app, but for now I'll stick with it - untill I'll find something better or you'll fix this. Great and does the job, would love it to be more customizable and more "animated", i used the maxfocused extension which is awesome and it has a really cool pop up animation. also id love to be able to long click to open the preview.

Totally fails on the site I need it for most: Craigslist Won't work even with the "Automatic Preview on Hover" and "Force Preview" options enabled.

To avoid noise/over-triggering, it would not preview links on the same domain, except that domain is one of the supported search engines. That being said, I agree there are use-cases for same-domain previews and would explore it in future revisions.

EDIT - SEE BOTTOM OF THIS COMMENT !!! ignore ratting, google needs a star rating to allow review (fair enough), but i need to report an issue, and i've gone to the developer's website to report, but their "report issue" github page is 404 <shrugs> Today the extension has gone bananas and instantly pops-up regardless if i hover over search URL's and then somehow speeds through URL's about 5 per second trying to load everything, not even sure if they're URL's from the search results. Great! only one that actually work amongst many that I've tried. But is it possible to keep the dark mode from another extension called Dark Reader, or chrome flags dark mode, or at least could you please add a dark mode option? Thanks
