# Search Engine Switch **Switch between 12 categories of search engines with minimal effort.** One search term, zero retyping — jump from any engine to any other engine in any category in the fewest clicks. ## Features - **102 built-in search engines across 12 categories** — web, translation, knowledge, images, video, music, academic, social, shopping, downloads, news, and code. - **Five ways to search:** - **Address bar** — type `ss` + keywords in the address bar, pick an engine from the suggestions, and jump straight to the results. - **Selection search** — select any text, right-click, and choose an engine for your selection from the context menu. - **Image search** — right-click an image and reverse-image search it with Google Lens, Yandex, or Baidu. - **Popup panel** — click the toolbar icon to open the popup panel, pick a category tab, then an engine. - **Floating menu on result pages** — a draggable floating menu that carries your current query, so switching engines is a single click with no retyping. - **Per-engine open mode** — open results in a new tab or the current tab, configured per engine. - **Custom engines** — add your own search engines in the settings page. - **Bilingual UI** — English and 简体中文, follows your browser language or set it manually; settings sync across devices. ## Privacy This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Queries are used only to build the URL of the search engine you choose.
