The Search Algorithm Updates extension provides real-time monitoring of Google's search algorithm status. It includes four main sections: - Updates, displaying ongoing and recently completed incidents with full details on impact, severity and duration; - Timeline, a visual overview of all updates across the last 10+ years per year for easy comparison; - Statistics, showing average update duration, longest and shortest updates, frequency per year and more; - Search, allowing users to search through the complete history of Google algorithm updates by keyword. Historical data goes back to 2011, including Panda, Penguin, Hummingbird, BERT and all major core updates, combined with live data from Google's official JSON incident feed. The extension automatically caches live updates locally so no update ever gets lost between feed refreshes. Browser notifications alert you when a new update goes live, and again when it completes its rollout.
