)Overview
Capture annotated screenshots of tab clicks and export them as a local PDF. Operates fully offline with no network calls.
ScSht is a Chrome extension designed to make documentation, bug reporting, and tutorial creation effortless. Traditionally, creating visual documentation is slow and repetitive. You capture screenshots manually, open editing tools to draw arrows or highlights, and organize everything step by step into documents. ScSht automates this entire workflow. Running securely inside Chrome’s persistent side panel, ScSht captures every interaction as you browse. Each click automatically generates a clean viewport screenshot with a subtle visual indicator placed exactly where the interaction occurred. Once recording is complete, you can review all captured steps in a visual thumbnail grid, remove unwanted slides, and instantly export the workflow as a polished PDF document. Who is ScSht for? • Support and IT teams creating SOPs, onboarding flows, and knowledge base articles. • QA engineers and developers documenting bug reproduction steps for Jira, GitHub, or Linear. • Educators and creators building tutorials, training manuals, and walkthroughs. • Auditors and operations teams recording visual proof with timestamps and URLs. Key Features Automated visual documentation: ScSht automatically captures screenshots and highlights user interactions without requiring manual editing, annotations, or external tools. Privacy-first architecture: ScSht works entirely offline. All screenshots and session data remain securely stored on your local device. There are: • No cloud uploads • No tracking systems • No third-party APIs • No remote storage Live review and cleanup: After recording, captured steps appear in a clean thumbnail grid where unwanted screenshots can be removed instantly. Remaining steps are automatically reordered. Professional PDF exports: Export workflows as clean, paginated PDF documents containing: • High-quality screenshots • Step numbers • Page URLs • Localized timestamps Fail-safe recording recovery: If the recording tab is accidentally closed, ScSht automatically preserves captured slides to prevent data loss. How it works 1. Open the ScSht side panel from the Chrome toolbar 2. Start recording and browse normally while ScSht captures interactions automatically 3. Review captured steps, remove unnecessary slides, and export the final PDF Privacy Practices: • No third-party services • No cloud processing • No analytics tracking • No internet connection required • 100% local processing Developed by Yaswanth Potti and Vijay Kumar Repaka
