Style native website scrollbars with accessible themes while keeping Chrome's normal scrolling behavior.

Scrollsmith changes the appearance of website scrollbars without replacing Chrome's scrolling system. Mouse wheel, trackpad, touch, and keyboard scrolling continue to work normally. Free features: • Minimal, Glass, and Neon themes • Width, corner-radius, and accent-color controls • Global on/off control • Disable styling on individual websites • Settings stored locally between browser sessions Optional Premium access adds original animated themes, advanced appearance controls, and per-website presets. Premium themes unlock only after Scrollsmith's server confirms an active entitlement. Payment takes place on Stripe's hosted website; the extension never asks for or handles card details. Privacy by design: • Does not read or collect webpage content • Does not transmit or build a browsing-history profile • Does not read passwords, messages, or form entries • Does not inject advertisements or tracking scripts • Does not download or execute remote code • The current hostname and user-selected exclusion or preset hostnames are handled locally and remain in Chrome's local extension storage • Optional sign-in sends account authentication data to usescrollsmith.com only to verify account and Premium access Native scrollbar CSS has browser and website limitations. Some pages may override scrollbar styling, Chrome internal pages cannot be changed, and experimental themes use accessible native-CSS approximations rather than scroll-jacking. Scrollsmith is intended for users age 13 or older. Users ages 13 through 17 need permission from a parent or legal guardian.
