Overview

Hide YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels with per-domain toggles.

I built Scroll Shield out of frustration. Like many, I’d open YouTube “just to watch one video” — only to get trapped in an endless stream of YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Facebook Reels. Minutes turned into hours, and I realized I wasn’t watching content — I was being consumed by it. That’s when I took control. Scroll Shield is a lightweight browser extension that helps you reclaim focus by blocking short-form distractions on the platforms that hook us most. With per-domain toggles, you can hide Shorts and Reels where you want focus, but still keep them available when you choose. No more falling into the algorithm’s trap.
