I needed to find an emergency alternative to Adobe InDesign, and Scribus was the least functional layout/publishing software I've used in over 20 years. It's not worth the trouble, unless you enjoy banging brick walls with your head.

can't open the box after you click on the drag bar. just closes and you have to exit. horrible.
