Hides the distracting parts of seven social media sites and leaves the rest working. Pick Light, Calm or Minimal on each site, or choose the individual settings yourself. WHAT IT HIDES YouTube — the home feed, Shorts, related videos, comments, end screen suggestions and the Explore section. Shorts open in the normal player instead of the Shorts viewer. Instagram — suggested posts, Explore, the stories tray, like and comment counts, and the feed itself. Reels open as ordinary posts. X — trends, Who to follow, the For you tab, the Premium upsell, Grok, and the timeline itself. TikTok — opens Following instead of For You, and hides Explore, LIVE, Get Coins and the counts. Facebook — Watch, Reels, Stories, Marketplace, Gaming, and the news feed itself. LinkedIn — suggested posts, LinkedIn News, Games, and the feed itself. Reddit — Popular and All, and the home feed. Search, messages, profiles and your own subscriptions keep working everywhere. HOW THE SETTINGS WORK Every site has three settings. Light hides the least, Minimal hides the most, and Calm sits between them. Open the toolbar icon to change any site on its own, or open Custom to turn individual items on and off. Turn a site off entirely and it is left alone. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO It does not hide advertising. It does not block anything, and it does not try to stop you. Turning it off takes one click. If you want blocking, time limits or a pause before a site opens, the ScreenZen desktop app does that. It works in Chrome, on those seven sites, and nowhere else. PRIVACY No account. No analytics. No network requests of any kind. The rules ship inside the extension, your settings stay in your browser, and nothing is ever sent anywhere.
