Screenshot Stash
Overview
Capture tab screenshots into a private local library. Review, copy, annotate, download or delete them — one by one or in bulk.
Screenshot Stash keeps every screenshot 100% on your device. Unlike Awesome Screenshot, Nimbus, and other tools, Screenshot Stash never uploads your captures. Everything is stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB — there are no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no network requests of any kind. Your screenshots stay yours. CAPTURE THREE WAYS - Visible tab — click the toolbar button or press Alt+Shift+S - Full page — automatic scroll-and-stitch of the entire page - Selected area — drag to select exactly the region you want ORGANIZE A PRIVATE LIBRARY - Full-text search across your captures - #tags to group and label screenshots - Per-site filter to find everything from one domain - Duplicate detection to keep things tidy - Dark mode WORK FASTER - Bulk select-all actions - Side-by-side compare of two screenshots - Built-in annotation editor: pen, arrow, box, and blur - Export all as a single .zip - Undo-able deletes, so a mistaken deletion is never permanent - Optional local auto-delete after 7, 30, or 90 days KEYBOARD SHORTCUT - Alt+Shift+S — capture the visible tab instantly PRIVACY BY DESIGN Screenshot Stash requests only the permissions it needs to capture and save your screenshots, and it uses them only when you act. Nothing is ever transmitted off your machine. Full privacy policy: https://github.com/iniikai/Screenshot/blob/main/PRIVACY.md Source code: https://github.com/iniikai/Screenshot
