CAPTURE • Full page, visible area, an Area you drag, one element, a scrolling panel, or a window or screen. • Full-page capture checks its own result, retries blank or repeated sections and tells you what it retried. • Captures open in the editor. Turn on the optional Quick Access card for Copy, Edit, Save, Redact or Beautify in one click. • Add a delay for menus and hover states. ANNOTATE • Arrows, boxes, text, highlights, numbered steps, spotlight and a freehand pen. • Drag endpoints, curve arrows, reuse styles and undo anything. • Crop with a quick drag, or set exact sizes and ratios. REDACT & BLUR • Find sensitive details lists emails, phone numbers, card numbers, keys and passwords on the page, ready to cover in one click. • Cover with a solid fill, blur or randomised pixelation. Solid is the one to use for sensitive details. • Export checks the covered areas and warns if text may still be readable. Detection can miss content, so review the result. COPY TEXT & COPY FOR AI • Drag over an image to copy its text. Text recognition runs on your device. • English is built in. Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese and Hindi are optional downloads you start yourself. • Copy for AI bundles the image, page address and text, ready to paste into any assistant. EXPORT & BEAUTIFY • PNG, JPEG, WebP or a paginated PDF at the captured resolution, within browser image-size limits. • Beautify with backgrounds, padding, shadows and browser frames, with size presets for social posts and docs. • Browser captures are kept in a searchable local History. Reopen saved edits and compare two captures. RECORD • Record a tab, window or screen with optional audio. MP4 where supported, WebM otherwise. PRIVACY & LIMITS • Images and edits are processed locally. Screenshot-er does not upload your captures or create sharing links, and there is no account. • The extension reads a page only when you click its icon or use a shortcut. • History keeps the original image, including details you covered.
