ShotGenio turns a plain screenshot into an image that's ready to post. On any web page, press Ctrl+Shift+S (Command+Shift+S on Mac) or click the toolbar icon. Drag over the part you want to keep, then adjust it with the resize handles or drag the box to move it. A badge shows the exact size in pixels, and the ShotGenio owl follows your cursor with its eyes while you crop. Press Enter and the cropped screenshot opens in the ShotGenio editor in a new tab. In the editor you can: • Place your screenshot on a gradient, photo or motion background, or in a browser or device frame • Add arrows, boxes, text and highlights, or blur private details • Add animated stickers • Download it as PNG, JPG or WebP, or as a GIF or video when you use a motion background The editor is free to use. Downloading needs a free ShotGenio account, and free downloads include a small ShotGenio badge. An optional one-time Lifetime license removes the badge and unlocks every background and higher-resolution downloads. Privacy: the extension captures and crops on your device and passes the image straight to the editor tab. Your screenshot only goes to a server if you ask the editor's AI to write a post about it. Note: Chrome doesn't let extensions run on chrome:// pages or the Chrome Web Store, so the shortcut does nothing there. You can change the shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
