It works, it's open source! I appreciate the rectangular selection and flexible clipboard/export options. Easy to figure out.

Chrome is so noob to not offer this feature that firefox natively offers. This extension is the best substitute with all possible options you could look for. However, dragging selection after initial selection would match firefox's exact feature. 4 star cuz of that

Use the 'Crop and Wait' option to enable dragging and resizing of the initial selection.

How do I drag down the screen to make the selection longer than the viewport? I tried Crop and wait and then drag the selection corner to expand it, but the other side is also moving. So basically I can't screenshot a longer screen section

Works with latest Chrome version on my end. Probably you could try disabling other extensions and see if something else interferes with it. Or maybe check your key combination in case you are using one. Another place to check is the extension's management page at chrome://extensions and see if the extension has access to all sites.

I managed to fix the issue and now im not having any problems with the extension. it works great and its exactly what i needed. perfect. shout out to the dev for showing nearly immediate concern and offering help

What operating system and browser version are you using? Also, a better place for reporting issues is the issue tracker on GitHub: https://github.com/simov/screenshot-capture/issues where more people can chime in if they have a similar issue.
