Record your screen, preview it, and upload it to your own Google Drive in one click.

ScreenRelay records your screen and puts the result where it belongs: in your own Google Drive. No account to create. No server in the middle. No watermark, no time limit, no upload queue — the file goes directly from your browser to your Drive, and you get a shareable link. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the toolbar icon — a recorder tab opens 2. Turn the microphone on if you want narration, then choose what to record 3. Pick a Chrome tab, an application window, or your entire screen 4. Keep working in other tabs while it records 5. Stop from the toolbar icon, with Alt+Shift+S, or from Chrome's own sharing bar 6. Preview the result, then upload it to Drive or download it WHAT YOU GET • Full source choice — tab, window, or entire screen, using Chrome's own picker • Optional microphone, off by default, mixed cleanly with system audio • Live level meter so you know your voice is actually being captured • Pause and resume mid-recording • Elapsed time on the toolbar badge, and a mini control when you click the icon • Preview before you commit to anything: watch it, rename it, then decide • Resumable uploads with a progress bar — large recordings survive a flaky connection • Optional "anyone with the link can watch" sharing, off by default • Recordings saved as MP4 where Chrome supports it, WebM otherwise BUILT TO ASK FOR AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE ScreenRelay requests no access to any website. It cannot read the pages you browse, because it never asks for permission to. The only two permissions it holds are local storage for your preferences and identity for signing in to your own Google account. Drive access uses the drive.file scope, the narrowest one Google offers. The extension can only see files it created itself — the rest of your Drive stays invisible to it. Nothing is collected. No analytics, no telemetry, no third parties. Recordings stay on your machine until you personally press upload.
