Screencap is a free screenshot tool for Chrome. Drag over any part of a page, mark it up right there, hide anything sensitive, and copy it with one keystroke. Editing, text recognition and redaction run on your device. No account needed. CAPTURE • Select Area (Alt+Shift+A): drag over anything and an editor opens right on the page • Visible Page (Alt+Shift+S): the whole tab in one click • Full Page (Alt+Shift+F): scrolls a long page and stitches it into one image, with sticky headers shown once • Element: captures one scrolling pane, such as a mail thread or a chat channel • Full resolution on Retina and HiDPI displays. On a Mac, use Option instead of Alt MARK UP • Rectangle, arrow, line, pen, highlighter, text, numbered steps, spotlight, pixelate and blur • Single-key tools, undo and redo. Enter copies, Ctrl+S (⌘S on a Mac) saves, Esc cancels • The full editor adds crop, zoom and pan, and keeps every control on screen, even for very long captures HIDE SECRETS (AUTO-REDACT) • Finds emails, phone numbers, card numbers, IBANs, IP addresses, API keys and tokens, and links that contain secrets • Review the list, then cover the items with boxes, pixelation or blur • Detection runs on your device.
