Screen Rest
Overview
Short screen breaks, gentle eye exercises and optional reminders from Calm Down Fast.
Screen Rest is a free everyday screen-break tool from Calm Down Fast. Four exercises: look into the distance for 20 seconds; gently trace eye eights in both directions; close and cover your eyes without pressure for up to one minute; gently close and open your eyes for ten repetitions (69 seconds). Watch the examples, then repeat independently without watching the screen. Pause or stop at any time. Closing the window ends the exercise. Animation can be disabled; the optional completion sound is off by default. Optional reminders are off by default. Choose 20–60 minutes in five-minute steps. Click a notification to open exercises or postpone it by 5, 15 or 30 minutes, then return to your regular interval. Chrome and system settings may delay or hide notifications. English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Arabic and Russian are supported. No accounts, ads, analytics or exercise-data uploads. Language, accepted terms and reminder settings stay locally in your browser. The extension does not read visited pages. All code, instructions and animations are bundled. Website and Android-app links are optional. This tool does not assess health, replace medical care or promise a particular result. Keep movements comfortable, do not press on your eyes or force your eyelids, and stop if uncomfortable. Do not use while driving or doing tasks that require attention. Read the terms and warnings before starting.
