Can't get the system recording to function which is half the reason I need this.

Let me help you. This tool is very good. I have been using this extension since around 2022. It works fine; you only need a light software called HandBrake to convert the WEBM video to MP4. Otherwise, the video is super short, and you can't play it on mobile phones unless you convert it using HandBrake (it works offline). However, when I go live using Google Meet, this screen recorder doesn't capture the system sound; that is the only problem I have with this tool.
