Click the ZenCapture icon in your toolbar and select the recording source (tab, window, or screen). 2. Choose resolution, frame rate, audio inputs, and whether to include webcam. 3. Press the record button or use Alt+Shift+R to start. 4. Pause if needed using Alt+Shift+K; resume to continue. 5. Click the stop button or use Alt+Shift+R to finish, then preview and save or delete the recording. 🔒 PRIVACY & TECHNICAL All recordings stream directly to your device’s IndexedDB in small chunks and are assembled locally. No network requests, analytics, or telemetry occur – data never leaves your computer. ZenCapture requires only storage and downloads permissions; it cannot read or modify websites.
