)Overview
This extension provides aid for the visually impaired people.
The extensions allow you to click on a text on a web page to read it aloud using the built-in text-to-speech (TTS) service. You can configure which TTS service to use by clicking on the extension's icon and selecting your favorite voice from the configuration dialog. It is a Google Hackathon 2012 in Warsaw, Poland, Chrome extension. Each operating system has a text-to-speech service, so consider using them first. If you need a new feature or spot an issue, you can report it on my GitHub page. I will respond as soon as possible. Remember that it is a side project, and I may have other priorities. But I will try to help as much as I can.

This chrome extension works very well. Thank you for this!

Works...sort of. Saw the ratings and wanted to see for myself. The main thing is that it works on CERTAIN pages, like Facebook, but not others, like Kindle. So my intended idea of having it read books to me won't work, at least with the Kindle Reader on Chrome for PC.
