Keep your screen awake with one click. Screen Always On stops your computer's display from dimming, turning off, or going to sleep while you need it. Great for presentations, dashboards, monitoring screens, reading, recipes, video calls, and long downloads. HOW IT WORKS • Click the sun icon in your toolbar • Pick how long: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours, or Always On • Flip the Keep awake switch. The icon turns amber while it's active The popup shows how much time is left (or how long your screen has been kept awake). When the timer runs out, your normal power settings come back automatically. Switch it off any time. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-up • No tracking, analytics, or ads • Doesn't read your web pages or browsing history • Makes no network requests. Everything stays in your browser Uses Chrome's built-in power API, so it only affects your display's sleep while the switch is on. Your computer's own settings are never changed.
